Hypnotherapy can be used for a range of issues. Broadly speaking, they fall into psychosomatic symptoms (e.g. skin disorders), emotional conflicts (e.g. jealousy), addictions, and self-image issues such as confidence or poor self-worth. There are many cross-overs though – and most situations will have components of each. A good hypnotherapist will not just give you suggestions in a relaxed state (which is really a waste of time unless just being relaxed for an hour is worth the fee), they will help the underlying issues too.
